Week of October 28
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for the blessings of family, for the love and support we share with one another. We are grateful for the gift of our loved ones, who walk with us through life's joys and challenges, bringing comfort, laughter, and peace.
Thank You for the community around us, for friends, neighbors, and those who enrich our lives with their kindness and care. In Your wisdom, You have placed us in circles of love and connection, and for this, we give You praise.
We ask that You continue to watch over and protect our families, bless our relationships, and guide us to always show love, patience, and understanding. May our hearts remain open to Your goodness, and may we always be mindful of the grace You pour into our lives each day.
in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Announcements
Main Street Signal
Please note that Tustin's Public Works has fixed the signal loop at the intersection of Stoneglass and Main Street. It seems that the loop was moved closer to the crosswalk, so cars exiting will need to move closer to the crosswalk to activate the signal. Thank you for noting this, especially when you are the "first in line" at the signal.

Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Shines!
We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful news of our recent WCEA (Western Catholic Educational Association) evaluation, in which we received an exceptional report and the FULL SIX YEAR ACCREDITATION. This evaluation serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment of our entire school community—students, parents, faculty, staff, and the Home & School Association—who continuously strive to maintain the high standards of Catholic education together with the our mission and evangelical call.
The WCEA evaluation highlighted several key strengths of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School:
- Strong Catholic Identity - Our school remains firmly rooted in the Catholic tradition, with a focus on cultivating faith, compassion, and service in all aspects of our students' lives. We are proud of the way we integrate these values into our academic and extracurricular programs, creating a Christ-centered learning environment.
- Academic Excellence - The evaluators praised our rigorous academic curriculum, which challenges students to reach their fullest potential. Our dedicated faculty consistently demonstrate their commitment to the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of each student, fostering a love for learning and intellectual curiosity.
- Community Engagement - One of our greatest strengths is the vibrant and supportive community we have built. Our school thrives because of the strong partnerships between parents, teachers, staff, and the wider community. This evaluation underscores the importance of these relationships in ensuring the success of our students.
- Commitment to Continuous Improvement - The WCEA evaluation also commended our efforts in implementing effective policies and practices that focus on ongoing improvement. We remain dedicated to providing a safe, securing, enriching and nurturing environment that supports every student’s growth academically, socially, and spiritually. The Educational Improvement Plan (EIP) will focus on the following goals:
-
Increasing service opportunities and fostering a culture where students can embrace the importance of serving others and actively fulfill the school's mission without seeking rewards or recognitions.
-
The leadership team will collaborate with faculty to establish a teacher evaluation framework and provide actionable feedback on curriculum implementation, classroom management strategies, and student data analysis.
-
Expand and deepen faculty utilization of the Professional Learning Community (PLC) framework to strengthen faculty collaboration by focusing on three key principles: a shared mission of improving student learning, a collaborative culture where teachers work interdependently to achieve common goals, and a results-oriented mindset.
-
The communications/marketing plan requires the school leader/leadership team and staff to ensure the implementation of contemporary, multiple information technologies to reach target audiences and to establish reliable and secure databases and accountability to stakeholders.
The Visiting Committee determined that Saing Jeanne’s new Educational Improvement Plan (EIP) fully meets the criteria of a highly effective plan. The Action Plans for the EIP are comprehensive and include all required components. The proposed timelines are designed to allow for flexibility and necessary adjustments. Discussions and meetings with stakeholders revealed strong community support and sufficient resources to ensure that the school can achieve the outlined goals within the proposed timeframe of the Action Plans within the Educational Improvement Plan.
This accomplishment reflects the collective efforts and dedication of everyone involved in our school. As we celebrate this achievement, we are inspired to continue upholding the mission, standards of excellence and faith-based education that defines Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School.
We thank you, our valued stakeholders, for your continuous support, dedication, and partnership in our mission to educate, inspire, and serve. Together, we will continue to nurture and guide our students as they grow into compassionate, faith-filled, and academically successful individuals.

Pray the Rosary with our Prayer Warriors!
We warmly invite you to join the Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Prayer Warriors in praying the Holy Rosary every Wednesday mornings immediately after drop-off, in our school chapel. This is a beautiful opportunity to come together as a community, lift up our intentions, and grow in faith as we seek the intercession of Our Blessed Mother.
Whether you're new to the Rosary or have been praying it for years, your presence and prayers are most welcome. Let us join our hearts in prayer for our students, our school, and all the needs of our community.
All are welcome!
