Life of Service according to the Gospel

Advent

Heavenly Father,

As we light the final candle of Advent, the candle of love,
we are reminded of Your boundless and unconditional love for us,
manifested through the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, prepare our hearts to welcome Him.
May we be filled with Your love so that we can share it
with all those around us — our family, friends, and even strangers.
Let this love bring hope to the broken, joy to the sorrowful,
and peace to the restless.

Help us to reflect Your love in our actions, words, and thoughts
during this final week of preparation.
May we grow closer to You and one another,
and may Your light shine brightly in our lives.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord.

Amen.

Dear Families and Friends,

As we celebrate the joyous season of Christmas, we, the administration, faculty, staff of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, and the Sisters of the Company of Mary, extend our prayerful wishes to you and your loved ones.

This holy season reminds us of Mary’s faithful "yes" to God’s call, a moment that forever changed the course of history. Her courage, humility, and trust in God’s plan serve as a beautiful example of the faith we strive to nurture within our school community, which will spread to our surrounding neighborhoods. Just as Mary welcomed Jesus into the world, we also welcome His light and love into our hearts and homes.

May the miracle of Christ’s birth fill your lives with peace, hope, joy, and love. We are deeply grateful for the support and partnership of our wonderful families and friends, who help us carry out our mission of extending our hand in service, fulfilling our name in spreading the Gospel message, and maintaining the flame of faith alive in the world.

Wishing you all a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with grace and goodness!

In the Company of Mary, Our Lady,

The Administration, Faculty, Staff and Sisters of the Company of Mary
Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School

In the Word made flesh, God has sent his last Word, his most profound Word, his most beautiful Word into the world.   And that Word means: I love you, world and humanity.
Light the candles!

The Fourth Sunday of Advent - LOVE!

The Fourth Sunday celebrates the depth of God’s love, as shown through His plan to send Jesus into the world. This theme invites Christians to reflect on how they can share that love with others. The Gospel often emphasizes Mary’s "yes" to God (her fiat) when the angel Gabriel announces that she will bear the Son of God. Her humility, obedience, and faith become a model for all believers. This Sunday draws attention to the closeness of Christmas and the joyful anticipation of the birth of the Savior.

On this Sunday, the fourth candle of the Advent wreath is lit. It is usually purple (or sometimes white in some traditions) and symbolizes love, completing the circle of preparation before Christmas.

Dear Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Families,

I am truly overwhelmed by your thoughtfulness and generosity this Christmas season. Your kind gifts, heartfelt prayers, and warm gestures have touched me deeply and remind me of the incredible community we have here at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac.

It is a blessing to witness the love and support you and your children so freely share, not just with me, but with one another and our beloved teachers. You bring the true meaning of Christmas to life through your kindness and faith.

May your families be filled with joy, peace, and countless blessings this Christmas and throughout the New Year.

With heartfelt gratitude and love,

Sister Cecilia

We value our families and aim to make the 2025-2026 re-enrollment process accessible and efficient. Early registration benefits everyone. It allows the school to plan resources and organize classrooms more effectively. It also helps ensure a smooth, prepared, and welcoming environment for all families. By committing early, families support the school’s ability to deliver the excellent education and personalized experience that make Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School exceptional.

To encourage early re-registration and planning for the upcoming school year, we have implemented a special incentive for returning families who complete enrollment before key dates. This plan offers a significant reduction in upfront registration costs (Initial Enrollment Fees) while allowing the Educational Support Fees to be deferred to the start of the school year or distributed over a 10-month payment period from August to May. We have also extended the window to take advantage of this re-registration initiative so that the deadline occurs past the current school year’s last tuition payment in May.

Enrollment Fee - Non-Refundable

  • Initial Enrollment Fee: $300 (if paid in full by June 13, 2025).
  • After June 13, 2025, the Standard Enrollment fee will be $700.

FACTS fees will be added to the overall enrollment fee at time of online enrollment.

Educational Support Fees - Non-Refundable

These fees can be distributed over a 10 month period (August - May) or paid up front, in any combination, at the start of the school year.

  • Curriculum Fee - $575/student
  • Technology Fee
    • Preschool and Prekindergarten - $115/student
    • Kindergarten - Eighth Grade - $225/student
  • Graduation Fee (Applicable to Eighth-grade Students Only) - $325/student
  • Annual Development Fee - $300 per family

Please note that all Enrollment and Educational Support Fees are non-refundable and will be due in full in the event of any early withdrawal(s).

Home and School Support Pledge

The Home and School Association provides vital financial support to the school in many ways. It is the responsibility of every family to participate fully in the fundraising projects and events that the Home and School sponsors throughout the year. In this way, the Teachers’ Benefit Fund, Academic Competitions, various school improvements, etc., may be provided.

Our main, obligatory, fundraisers are the May Festival (minimum of 1 book of tickets per child enrolled and 1 hour per child volunteer time commitment) and the Gift Gathering for the Fall Auction/Dinner. This pledge is collected at the time of the event and not included in the registration fees.

Key Dates

  1. Open Registration: January 6
  2. Early Re-Enrollment Deadline: June 13, 2025

Student Council News

On Thursday, the National Guard provided decision-making presentations for 4th–8th grade students. The presentations engaged students through dialogue about making good choices and feeling confident to say no. This presentation aligned nicely with this month's Friendzy Unit, reinforcing valuable lessons for social and emotional growth. We want to thank the National Guard for coming to our school and modeling integrity, faith, and compassion to our students.
