Life of Service according to the Gospel

Week of February 3 - 7

Lord,
Grant me wisdom to see Your truth and discernment to follow Your will.
Guide my heart and mind in every decision,
that I may walk in Your light with faith and humility.
Fill me with Your Spirit, that I may choose what is right and just.
I trust in You, Lord—lead me always.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

Announcements

Dear Grandparents and Special Guests,

On behalf of the Faculty, Staff and Administration of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, we extend our deepest gratitude for joining us on Grandparents’/Special Persons’ Day. Your presence brought so much joy and warmth to our school community, and it was truly a blessing to celebrate this special occasion with you.

Thank you for the love, wisdom, and support you share with our students. Your role in their lives is invaluable, and we are grateful for the lasting memories created together. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we cherished having you here.

May God continue to bless you and your families abundantly. We look forward to welcoming you again soon!

We are committed to providing our students with a secure and innovative digital learning environment. As part of this ongoing effort, we will be transitioning from Mosyle MDM (Mobile Device Management) to Jamf MDM in the coming weeks. This change will allow us to better manage school-issued devices, enhance security, and optimize our approach to emerging technologies, particularly in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Why the Change?
Jamf MDM offers advanced features that align with our commitment to responsible and effective technology use, including:

  • Enhanced AI-Driven Security: Jamf provides stronger AI-based monitoring and security tools to protect student data and ensure safe device usage.
  • Improved Device Management: The transition will allow for more seamless updates, better app deployment, and stronger oversight of educational tools.
  • Smarter AI Integration: With AI becoming more prevalent in education, Jamf enables us to implement responsible AI usage while maintaining a safe and structured digital environment for our students.

What This Means for You and Your Child in Grades 3-8

  • Students will be provided with the steps they will need to take on their devices AT HOME that will automatically enroll the device in Jamf.
  • Students may experience brief interruptions in access as we complete the transition.
  • Our teachers will provide support to ensure a smooth migration with minimal to no disruption regarding the school's network access and learning platforms on student devices.

We appreciate your support as we continue to enhance our students' digital learning experience.

Spreading Kindness One Mission At A Time

We are excited to help promote a new after school service project group dedicated to putting faith into action spreading kindness and compassion through meaningful community service. Aligned with Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School's Mission, this initiative will provide students with hands-on opportunities to serve others, fostering a spirit of generosity, empathy, and compassion.

Headed by President Audrey Dang (7th) and volunteer committee members Mia Valdez (7th), Abby Salyards (7th), Marley Rountree (6th), Noah Dang (6th), Elise Cavanaugh (6th) and Sasha Sarieh (6th), we are confidient that this group will help spearhead the school's continued focus on developing students with a desire to help and serve the school and local community efforts.

In partnership with Operation Be Kind, this group will organize service projects that make a real difference in the lives of those in need. Whether assembling care packages, supporting local shelters, or uplifting others through small acts of kindness, each mission will be a step toward spreading love and hope in our community.

Join us as we live out our faith through service, one mission at a time! Stay tuned for upcoming projects and ways to get involved.
