7th/8th Valentine’s Dance (TENTATIVE)

Committee Duties: Make a playlist of middle school-appropriate dance music. THIS SHOULD NOT BE MADE BY A STUDENT. You may collect song requests ahead of time, but COMMITTEE MUST CHECK ALL SONGS FOR APPROPRIATENESS. Bring in a phone or iPad with the playlist. Decorate the SJDL cafeteria for the 7th/8th-grade Valentine’s dance. Coordinate volunteers and decoration gathering. Cover the cafeteria windows with decorative blackout paper. String twinkle lights around the room (optional). Be as creative as possible to create a Valentine-themed dance for the kids. 

NOTE: The 7th-grade Room Moms are responsible for snacks, drinks, and goody bags.

Budget: See Mrs. Parker for budget. Any costs incurred above and beyond your budgeted amount will be considered a generous donation. Please submit all receipts for reimbursement, clearly labeled with your name and committee/event, to Mrs. Yorba.
